There was too Giorgia Meloni at the Brancaccio Theater in Rome to take part in the new show of Checko Zalone “Love + VAT”. The premier tiptoed in a minute into the show, when the lights in the hall were already off and the audience was waiting for the Apulian comedian to take center stage. No one would have noticed his presence – except for those seated next – but it was Zalone himself who revealed the presence of the special guest, who joked in the middle of the evening: “He preferred my karaoke show with Macron”.
Together with her partner Andrea Giambruno and the Undersecretary of State for Culture Gianmarco Mazzi, Giorgia Meloni took part in the show which is part of Checco Zalone’s new theatrical tour, which began last November with its premiere in Florence. “I can say that I was positively impressed by Giorgia Meloni’s communication skills,” said the Apulian comedian in an interview on the eve of the debut of his “Amore + Iva” about the prime minister. Thus, a few months after these words, Prime Minister Meloni wanted to enjoy the Roman premiere of Zalone, which took place in Brancaccio Theater packed with spectators and other well-known faces from the world of entertainment and sports. In fact, on the ground floor were also the mayor of the original city of Zalone, Francesco Crudele, the president of Coni Giovanni Malagò, the fencer Bebe Vio and again Gianmarco Tamberi and Martin Castrogiovanni.
Checco Zalone wanted to greet Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in his own way and halfway through the show, when the lights were still off, he joked with the audience in the hall about her presence. “Don’t make me look like shit, here’s the prime minister who preferred my karaoke show macron‘ the Puglian comedian joked, greeting the special guest and all the other familiar faces present on the Rome stage of his theatrical tour. A peculiar way of thanking the Prime Minister for the surprise and the certificate of appreciation at the end of the show Giorgia Meloni then left the Brancaccio Theater and greeted those who recognized her.
