He jokes on TV that he regrets marrying his wife and is then charged with her murder

A participant in the American show “Family Feud” joked on the show that he regretted marrying his wife; he is now on trial for murder.

Timothy W. Bliefnick, 39, is accused of killing Rebecca Bliefnick, 41, at her Illinois home earlier this year.

An innocent, humorous scene that aired on TV seemed quite revealing in hindsight.

During the Fall 2019 show Family Feud, Mr Bliefnick was asked what the biggest mistake he had made in his marriage was.

“Baby, I love you, but I said, ‘I do,'” he replied to the host.

“Not my fault, not my fault… I love my wife. I’m going to get in trouble for this, aren’t I?” he added.

Trouble was not long in coming until his wife complained in 2021 about living with domestic violence.

Ms Bliefnick actually revealed to her sister before her death that she “feared for her life,” reports People.

QUINCY POLICE DEPARTMENT

On Tuesday, witnesses for the prosecution appeared on the stand, including one of Rebecca’s sisters, Sarah Reilly, who mentioned that her sister sent her a very explicit text message in September 2021.

“If anything happens to me, make sure Tim is the first person you care about. I have written to express my fear that he will hurt me in one way or another,” she wrote to her sister, according to KHWA-TV.

The victim’s father, William Postle, found his daughter dead on the bathroom floor on February 23, 2022.

The young mother had not picked up her three children from school.

The couple were in the process of a divorce at the time of the murder.

According to KHWA-TV, the attacker entered the victim’s bedroom before shooting him 14 times.

Mr Bliefnick pleaded not guilty.
