Which Globo announcer died?

Unfortunately, time is passing and some names of the Jornal Nacional have already left us in mourning, as in the case of one of the greatest presenters in the history of television news, Paulo Henrique Amorim.

In the 90s he was one of the successors of the Jornal Nacional headliners, then it was Cid Moreira and Sergio Chapelin who returned after a while.

According to TV História, Paulo Henrique Amorim was Globo’s correspondent in the United States but left the station to work for Band, Cultura and Record.

He died of a massive heart attack on July 10, 2019 at the age of 76 in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), a few weeks after being removed from Domingo Espetacular.
