Supermodel Heidi Klum, 48, left little to the imagination after she shared a dismissive photo of herself with the caption “What’s happening in Vegas……♥️” on Instagram on Sunday.
In the series of photos, Klum rocked a tan lace bra and black leggings with strategically placed hip cutouts and black patent leather heels.
The model has shut down her Instagram comments to ward off hate, but the photo received over 140,000 likes.
Klum, 48, is a lifelong fan of showing skin, and told Ocean Drive magazine in 2018 that her family frequented nude beaches.
“I grew up with my parents in a very free environment… we went to nudist beaches. We are very open-minded, but you can’t say that about all Germans.”
This look might be quite daring in normal context, but for Klum, a former Victoria’s Secret angel, this ensemble is a no-brainer.
She’s shown a lot more of her famous figure in the past, even posing nude for Rankin’s 2018 photo book, Heidi Klum by Rankin. The photos were taken over a ten-year period and show the most intimate sides of Klum over the decade.
When asked how or why she feels so comfortable showing so much of herself, Klum said, “Why not?”
The Queen of Halloween didn’t let pregnancy or the tales of aging stop her from flaunting her body for the book; Instead, she allowed the changes to empower and enlighten her.
“We should celebrate a woman’s body; it doesn’t matter how old she is,” she told the Daily Mail during Naomi Campbell’s 2017 Fashion for Relief Gala in Cannes.
While Klum has built a successful career on her looks, she admitted she wasn’t always as confident as she is now and is more secure in her body than she was when she first stepped on the runway scene.
“I’ve posed nude before, but I just never showed it to everyone. I feel more confident now than I did in my 20s… I think when I was younger I was more shy and I’ve grown into myself,” she told the Daily Mail.
