The German-American model caused controversy when the Chron published the question-and-answer session she organized on Instagram the day before.

“I just got home and friends are sending me these articles saying I’m only eating 900 calories a day,” she said in an Instagram Story video Tuesday night (Aug. 22, 23).

Heidi Klum, 50, continued, “First, I want to say that I don’t think I’ve ever had to count calories in my life, don’t believe everything you read.” That’s why I don’t count my calories. »

Heidi Klum then defended sharing her weight on Instagram during her question-and-answer session. “Someone asked me how much I weigh and I climbed on my scale to show them. So, I don’t know, people put it all together and wrote shit. It’s really sad because journalism doesn’t exist anymore. People just make up stories, write them down and then everyone jumps on them,” she lamented.

Heidi Klum added: “And it’s really sad because people are reading this and are going to follow it and it’s not good for them.”

According to the Mail Online, the America’s Got Talent judge opened up about her eating habits during the controversial question-and-answer session. She said she started her day with three poached eggs in chicken broth. After a user asked her about her weight during the same session, the supermodel filmed herself climbing on a scale and shared the result.

According to the NHS, the recommended daily caloric intake is 2,000 for women and 2,500 for men.
