Heidi Klum shares her ‘hidden’ talent for sweat control while promoting ‘Making The Cut’ on the CBS show

Heidi Klum revealed she has a secret talent for not breaking a sweat while appearing on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Thursday.

She explained to the host that her years of modeling and photography have helped improve her ability to stop sweating and that she can bring herself to sweat only in places that aren’t visible on camera.

“They’re going to come all the time and they’re going to put that powder puff on your face,” said Heidi, 49, a judge on America’s Got Talent.

“So I’m like, don’t sweat my face and I just tell myself not to sweat my face and then I just sweat everywhere you don’t see it and that’s my talent. It’s hidden. Because I don’t show it.’

Wearing a sequined long dress, Heidi appeared on the show to promote the Season 3 premiere of her Amazon Prime original show Making The Cut.

She said she started modeling after winning a competition in 1992. Heidi shared that some of her first modeling jobs included a bra commercial using only her breasts and hands.

“No head,” said Heidi, adding that she started modeling with her face a few years later.

She also shared that her legs were once insured with Lloyd’s of London for $2 million.

“This one leg was much more expensive than the other,” said Heidi. “I think maybe this one was only $700,000. And this one was $1.3. Because I had a little scar on this leg when I fell into a glass.’

Heidi showed off the scar from running around a table outside and then falling onto a glass.

“Absolutely hideous,” Stephen joked about the small scar.

She shared how she got the scar walking around as a little girl. “Boom, connect, seven stitches later and then $700,000 leg,” said Heidi.

Heidi said she’s excited for her new season of Making The Cut because she’s still dating her ‘TV husband’ Tim Gunn, 68, from her previous show Project Runway.

“We’ve been doing Project Runway together for sixteen years and now making the cut for three years,” said Heidi.

Heidi said the difference with this show is that a winning look can be purchased on Amazon almost immediately. Heidi shared that behind the scenes co-moderator Tim also teaches her new words.

“I don’t understand half of what he’s saying, so we get along great,” Heidi said. “He has so many words. I only recently learned one thing: tickling. I thought it had something to do with something else, but it’s not rude to say so!’

“He’s always teaching me new words,” she said. Tim doesn’t wear make-up either, revealed Heidi.

“Where I spend two hours with all this like he just shows up,” said Heidi.

Stephen performed a clip of the new show with Heidi in a sequined Dolce Gabbana outfit on a catwalk in the desert with Tim.

Heidi said she also had the best time serving as a judge on America’s Got Talent.

“You never know who’s coming on stage,” said Heidi. “Each one is more amazing than the other and some are not amazing. And besides, they are a lot of fun.”
