A year after her split from Scott Sinclair, Helen Flanagan is reportedly “back on the dating scene” despite still wearing her engagement ring.
This comes after the former Coronation Street star, 31, admitted in a candid conversation that she was a “complete psychopath” waiting for her ex-fiancé Scott to propose to him.
According to The Sun, she enjoyed a string of dates with a secret lover, but the two soon broke up.
The source said: “Helen is officially back on the dating scene – she’s been dating someone privately or privately for a while but has said they were better off as friends but she really enjoyed dating him .”
“Everything is easy going and she’s taking it easy – she doesn’t want anything serious.”

Despite breaking up with Scott, Helen continued to wear her engagement ring, albeit on her right hand.
The insider said, “She actually still wears her engagement ring because it’s just too nice to let it go — she’s wearing it on a different finger.”

The soap star recently opened up about her split for the first time after breaking off her engagement to the footballer last summer.
Helen shared the recorded clips on her Instagram Story on Thursday, reflecting on her life since then and the “big transition” she’s faced as a single mother of three.
The actress revealed she still wears her ring, albeit on the other hand, and laughed to herself as she recalled Scott’s marriage proposal at Disneyland in 2018.
She began, “I really like being honest about situations. I’m trying to achieve that with motherhood, it’s been a strange adjustment for me.”
Helen continued: “Last year actually. I was with my fiancé for a very long time – from the age of 19 to 31 and he was my whole world.

“I still wear my engagement ring, but I wear it on my other finger because I love it.” It’s my grandma’s wedding ring.
“Besides, it took him long enough to propose marriage. It’s nice to keep all the good memories.” Matilda was there, it was at Disneyland Paris and it was really, really sweet. I remember thinking, “When is he going to propose?!”
Helen, who was pregnant with her second child at the time, explained, “I was like, ‘Where’s my ring?'” All my friends were so relieved when he finally did it because I was just so obsessed with it. I thought, “This is our second child.”
“He waited until the very last minute and knew I was absolutely crazy about it!”
“I could hardly walk because of my feet. My ankles were so big and my feet were so fat. I had problems throughout my pregnancy. I could barely walk and he knows how I am from my insta pics. I had a bun and my glasses on. It was so funny.’
When she first opened up about her breakup, she added, “Shortly after we broke up, I made sure to do the jungle, it was perfect timing and a great distraction.” Then I got down to the house renovation.
“Before that, I had a boyfriend when I was 17. Throughout my adult life I have never been single or alone. So last year was quite a transition for me.”

The actress admitted she felt lonely in January after she and Scott split in July, adding, “When I was younger I was so in love with him.”
But continued, ‘Do I actually want to have a full blown relationship, live with someone where everything is intense and marriage is talked about?’ Absolutely not.’
In her lengthy online video, she admitted she’s still working on herself and said of future relationships, “I don’t know if I’m really ready to talk about dating.” Someday I would, but not right now , but I found someone who was really really nice to me and we’re still really good friends and he was nice.
“He just made me feel beautiful and he made me feel special, which was beautiful.” I think it’s a pretty big deal, especially when you have kids, and I think so , it matters who you spend your time with.”
