Helen Mirren filmed the Los Angeles premiere of Shazam Tuesday! Fury Of The Gods into a family affair by bringing along her little grandson Basil as her plus one.
The 77-year-old actress held hands with the little boy as they walked down the red carpet with the superhero movie’s lead Zachary Levi and the rest of the cast.
Mirren looked sensational as she modeled a plunging black lace gown with long sleeves and a ruffled skirt for photographers.
Her long, white hair – which she let grow out during the coronavirus lockdown – flowed in curls over one shoulder and a black headband kept all her strands in place.
Mirren stowed her belongings in a shiny hardshell clutch and threw on large, jeweled earrings for a touch of sparkle.

Though she has no children of her own, Mirren is close to her husband Taylor Hackford’s two sons: Rio Hackford, 51, and Alexander Hackford, 44.
Tragically, Rio — who was a working actor and club owner — died in April 2022 from uveal melanoma, which is “a very aggressive and rare form of cancer.”
In a statement to PEOPLEMirren and Hackford said they are “both inspired by the life of our son and stepson, Rio Hackford, and heartbroken by his loss.”
It continues: “He has shared the journey of his life with so many who are now mourning him while celebrating their good fortune to know him.”
Rio has two children, Waylon and Buck Hackford, during his marriage to Libby Hackford, so it’s safe to assume that Basil owns Hackford’s youngest son, Alexander.
Mirren looked ecstatic as she showed her grandson the latest episode on Shazam! franchise when she graced the big screen as one of the film’s villains.
She plays the role of Hespera, who is one of Atlas’ three daughters.

Zachary Levi plays the title character of the action film and he looked every bit like the main man when he arrived at Tuesday’s big premiere.
