After their paths crossed in The Mosquito Coast, Helen recalled that he was a “huge movie star” while she was a little-known stage actress.

She told the Times: “The relationship was obviously very, very different at the time because Harrison was already a huge movie star and I was a stage actress from London and nobody had heard of me.

Revealing that the Harrison of today is “very different” from her ’80s co-star, she added, “He had that armor that’s essential for people who’ve reached that level of popular fame. It’s so comprehensive that you need to develop some sort of defensive armor. He was always nice to children; Adults, not so much.’
