The family of Helen Skelton’s ex Richie Myler said they were proud of the rugby player as they celebrated his birthday this weekend.
32-year-old athlete Richie posted a picture of himself with his sister Rachell on his Instagram story, which she shared on her own page.
Rachel wrote on the photo: “Happy Birthday to the best big brother a sister could wish for!

Richie has dated the daughter of multi-millionaire president of his rugby club Leeds Rhinos, Stephanie Thirkill.

Richie has insisted there was no crossover and that he began the romance with Stephanie after their marriage collapsed.
It was later reported that Helen suspected infidelity and contacted a private investigator to uncover the truth.
Stephanie and Richie met at a rugby dinner last autumn – when Helen was pregnant with their now four-month-old daughter Elsie Kate.
Helen and her estranged husband also share sons Ernie, six, and Louis, four.

A source recently told Mail Online how heartbroken Helen was “confused” by the collapse of her marriage to Richie.
The new woman in Richie’s life is listed as a director of two companies run by her father; Age Partnership and Advise Wise, part of a group of companies he founded to build his considerable fortune.
She previously studied Retail Marketing Management at Leeds Metropolitan University and works daily as a Marketing Executive at Age Partnership.
In 2018, she married in a lavish ceremony at Bolton Abbey, the Duke of Devonshire’s estate in Yorkshire. It is believed that the couple has since split up.
Up until the split was announced, they appeared to have the perfect marriage on the outside, with many showings of their devotion taking to social media in recent weeks.
The couple bought a £550,000 cottage on the outskirts of Leeds two years ago during lockdown and spent hundreds of thousands refurbishing it with a beautifully fitted kitchen and huge French windows overlooking the idyllic garden.
Former Blue Peter star Helen confirmed their split on Instagram last month, writing, “It’s very sad to say that Richie and I are no longer a couple.
“He left the family home. We will do our best to raise our little children together.”
