Alongside her sleek midi dress, Helena also wore a royal blue waistcoat with gold contrast buttons.
The actress added a colorful tie while further accessorizing with a pair of white gloves and glamorous oversized sunglasses.
Written by Russell T Davies, the three-part drama Nolly will explore the almighty rule and downfall of the inimitable Noele Gordon, who died in 1985.
Declared ‘Queen of the Midlands’ thanks to her legendary role as Meg Mortimer in ‘Crossroads’, she was the darling of the establishment until it turned against her.

Playing the red-haired widow Meg on the long-running soap opera Crossroads, Noele became one of Britain’s most famous people.
Then, in 1981, at the height of the show’s success and the height of its fame, it was axed without ceremony, without warning, and without explanation, and the soap finally ended two years later.
With the boss’s words “all good things must come to an end” ringing in her ears, Noele was kicked off the show that was her life for over 18 years.
Noele, who had previously played several roles in theater before landing her role in Crossroads, played Meg from 1964 to 1981 and later returned for two episodes in 1983.
Happy days: Helena willingly hugged a member of the crew on set
After being kicked out of the show, Noele’s illness prevented her from taking on many more roles and she died in 1985 at the age of 66.
A love letter to a TV legend and to the zany soap opera she starred in, Nolly will be an entertaining journey through Noele’s most turbulent years and a sharp, loving and heartbreaking portrait of a forgotten icon.
Speaking of the role, Helena said: “Noele Gordon was a fascinating, complex, brilliant and courageous woman – I knew none of this before reading the Russell T. Davies screenplay.
“I am so thrilled to be helping tell Nolly’s long overdue and largely forgotten story.
“Russell’s script is brilliant and I hope I do justice to him and Nolly. I can’t wait to get started.”
