She donned a cozy, fur-lined parka for her outing, which comes after she opened up about the “witch hunt” against fellow stars Johnny Depp and JK Rowling.
Out and about: Helena Bonham Carter, 56, took a little stroll around Hampstead in London on Tuesday after expressing her hatred of the abandonment culture
Helena wore her hair in a messy updo and placed her glasses on her head while opting to go makeup-free.
She shopped during her trip before stopping to speak to a friend, who was also wrapping herself up warm in a padded coat.
It claims there would be “millions” of people who could be canceled if you “look closely enough” at their personal lives.

When asked about the subject in a new interview with The Sunday Times, Helena said: “Are you banning a genius for his sexual practices? There would be millions of people you would disqualify if you looked closely enough at their private lives.
“You can’t ban people. I hate the culture of abandonment. It’s gotten pretty hysterical and there’s a kind of witch hunt and lack of understanding.”
Helena, who has worked with a host of stars at the heart of the #MeToo movement, including Harvey Weinstein and Woody Allen, explained that there was “no going back” for some high-profile celebrities when she name-checked Kevin Spacey.
Not for me! It is claimed there would be “millions” of people who could be canceled if you look “close enough” at their personal lives (pictured recently).
Kevin continues to face legal issues relating to sexual misconduct and is currently facing four counts of sexual assault against three complainants in the UK, with a trial date set for June 2023.
However, Helena claimed her Sweeney Todd co-star Johnny Depp, 59, has been “completely redeemed” since he was first accused of domestic violence by his ex-wife Amber Heard.
Helena said Johnny “certainly went through it” as she referred to the widely publicized defamation lawsuit involving Heard when he accused her of defaming him by calling him a domestic abuser in a 2018 comment.
Opinion: Helena said Johnny Depp, 59, has been “completely vindicated” since he was first accused of domestic violence by his ex-wife Amber Heard (pictured with Depp in 2009).
Johnny is godfather to her children Billy Ray, 18, and Nell, 14, who she shares with her ex Tim Burton – the director of a series of films in which both Helena and Johnny star.
She claimed that the allegations against Johnny didn’t sound entirely true, saying, “There’s something pretty old-fashioned about Johnny’s manners.”
Helena also spoke about the “hounding” of JK Rowling, who was also an influential star in the eye of a cancel culture storm for her views on women-only spaces.
Speaking about the treatment of JK, which has ranged from online trolling to having her books burned, Helena branded: “terrible and a lot of b****cks”.
