This spring, Slovakia became the 30th country to adopt the popular format. Guy A Lepage was right with his humorous sketches of everyday life. This hard-hitting series, which describes the horror parents experience when their child decides to commit murder in a school, leaves no one indifferent. And it’s an issue that worries many areas given the proliferation of this type of event. The series was acquired a few weeks ago by the distribution company Olympusat, opening the possibility of seeing it in its original version or in French or Spanish dubbing in a hundred countries, reaching the United Kingdom as well as Mexico and Latin America. Note that the United States, Norway, Australia, and France had already acquired it.

Created by Martin Petit in 2013, the series was adapted by the Americans. These fishing tales, in which the comedian and friends visit his cabin, revolve around stand-up Bert Kreischer. Petit already had the American experience thanks to the adaptation of the film Starbuck. While serving as executive producer, he accepted that we leave more room for improvisation in this version. The Cabin is available on Netflix and made the top 5 most watched series when it was released in 2020.

The authors of this series, Bernard Dansereau, Annie Piérard and Étienne Piérard Dansereau, were visionaries in a way. They painted the catastrophic scenario of the consequences of an epidemic.
