A Google employee has his ears ringing in anger after misplacing a copy of the future Pixel Watch.
A prototype of Google’s first connected watch was apparently forgotten by its owner in a restaurant (reminiscent of the famous Gizmodo affair that allowed the site to publish photos of a prototype iPhone 4 – bought for $5,000 – forgotten by Gray Powell, an Apple engineer) before snapshots of the device were published by Android Central.
The clichés support the sounds reminiscent of corridors a round design (this should appeal to critics of the Apple Watch format), with a physical crown and two buttonsa four-pin connector (which could be used to provide additional functionality via wristbands, for maintenance, or even disappear on the final model), a sensor on the back for activity and health tracking, and a metallic-looking body.
The clock found was also equipped a strap reminiscent of what Cupertino offers on the Apple Watch (with a proprietary mounting system that allows additional models to be offered).
However, the interface will remain mysterious (since the clock turns on but only shows a white Google logo), at least until the Mountain View company makes an official presentationmaybe at the Google I/O conference, which takes place on May 11th and 12th.
