On Friday (January 12), Ariana Grande returned with the late '80s-inspired single “Yes, And?”
The upbeat song oozes confidence and serves as the lead track for Grande's highly anticipated seventh album, which she began testing online in late December.
The single builds on the cheeky track, in which Grande sings about healing and no longer having to worry about other people's projections. “Yes and?” she asks repeatedly, urging listeners to ask themselves why commenting on her life is so important to them – and hopefully reduce such actions in the future.
