As the Women’s World Cup enters day five, fans will finally get a chance to see the amazing Marta representing Brazil in their sixth World Cup.

Brazil play Panama in Group F, while Italy take on Argentina and Germany take on debutants Morocco.

In the US, matches will be broadcast on FOX Sports, while Telemundo will provide Spanish-language coverage.

Seven Network and Optus Sport will broadcast matches in Australia and BBC and ITV will own the rights in the UK.

A full breakdown of media rights holders in each country is available on the FIFA website.

Italy vs Argentina starts at 2am ET, Germany vs Morocco starts at 4:30pm ET and Brazil meets Panama at 7am ET.

The sovereign striker Alexandra Popp starts her World Cup season.

Leading up to this game, everything revolved around the magical Marta.

Only former Brazilian legend Formiga, who has played seven times, has competed in more Women’s World Cups than Brazil’s No. 10 success figure.

Marta also wants to become the first player to score in six different World Cup tournaments. Alongside Marta, Cristiano Ronaldo and Christine Sinclair have also scored in five World Cups – Sinclair missing an opportunity to score in her sixth goal in the opener in Canada.

If Marta were to increase her record tally of goals at the World Cup, she would also be the oldest player ever to score in the competition.

“We want to win this trophy – especially for Marta,” Brazilian Kerolin told reporters. “She deserved it because of everything she did in the game and because of the person she is. It’s hard to put into words what kind of person she is.”

Panama have won just one of their last five games before the World Cup. In a group with France, Brazil and Jamaica, new signing Panama will have their hands full as they claim their first World Cup win.

Brazil No. 10 also wants to become the oldest-ever goalscorer at a Women’s World Cup.

Germany, one of the tournament favorites, will start the season against Morocco.

Germany came tantalizingly close to winning Euro 2022, losing to England in the final and hoping to go one step further in their recent effort to win the silver medal.

Alexandra Popp, who missed the final of the EM 2022 due to injury, will again play a key role in Germany’s fortunes.

The forward has scored 62 goals in 128 games for the national team and will be looking to improve that tally against Panama.

In addition to Popp, Germany will rely primarily on her Wolfsburg teammate Lena Oberdorf. The incredibly talented midfielder is a driving force in midfield.

The Atlas Lionesses will look to match the success of their male counterparts at the 2022 World Championships. The men’s team reached the semifinals in Qatar.

However, Morocco are winless and goalless in five games, which is a concern when facing a side like Germany.

Lena Oberdorf will be key to Germany’s chances of success at the World Cup.

Argentina is hoping for its first win at the Women’s World Cup. In nine previous World Cup games, Argentina have lost seven and drawn two.

Italy, like Argentina, have qualified for a fourth World Cup but have performed better than their opponents in previous editions.

Italy reached the quarter-finals in 2019 and hope to use that experience to advance to the knockout rounds this year.
