The film The Little Mermaid hits theaters across Quebec today. For many fans of this Disney classic, this is a long-awaited farewell. On Instagram, Audrey-Louise Beauséjour, who you saw in Star Académie, made a big announcement as she is the voice of Ariel.
It’s finally The Little Mermaid movie release day across Quebec! Here’s the synopsis: Under the Sea, Ariel, a young mermaid and daughter of King Triton, dreams of becoming a human. One evening she flees the palace after an argument with her father. Then a violent storm breaks out at sea and it is there that she saves from drowning the young and handsome Prince Eric, with whom she falls madly in love. In order to find the person she loves, the witch of the oceans, Ursula, offers her voice in exchange for human legs.

Taking to Instagram, the talented Audrey-Louise Beauséjour made a big announcement by revealing that she is the voice of Ariel. She posted the following:
” Great news!! Today it’s finally here: The Little Mermaid live action is out 🧜♀️✨ Many of you have been asking me this question since the first trailer was released and it’s been hard to keep the secret! Me I was so excited to tell you! So I am happy to announce today that I have the honor of lending my voice to Ariel in the new movie The Little Mermaid. I’m in love!! Shall we meet a cinema near you? 😉💙”
