In the tragedy at a high school in Malmo, the boy was captured by special forces that intervened in the institute

Two women in their 50s were killed in an attack on an upper secondary school in Malmo, Sweden, for which an 18yearold student was arrested. According to Aftonbladet newspaper, the young man used an ax and a knife and called the police himself after the attack.

“I sit on the third floor and have laid down my arms. I killed two people, the student would announce. The alarm clock rang at 5:12 p.m. There were about 50 people in the school. Many fled in panic while others took refuge in the classrooms. The two women, both high school employees, were taken to the hospital by ambulance and died shortly thereafter.

“It is with great sadness that we have to say that two people have lost their lives in this horrific event and our thoughts are with their families and friends,” Malmo Police Station Chief Petra Stenkula said in a press release. According to Aftonbladet, some teachers at the school have also claimed that the boy had been behaving very strangely throughout the winter and that they were afraid something might happen.
