Sirens sounded in several Israeli towns near the Lebanese border on Sunday as the Hezbollah resistance and the occupying army exchanged mortar shells against each other’s positions, with no reports of casualties on either side.

Tensions along the Israel-Lebanese border have increased due to intermittent exchanges of fire between Israeli forces and Hezbollah.

The escalation comes as Israel expanded its air and ground operations in the Gaza Strip following a cross-border attack by the Palestinian resistance group Hamas against Israeli border towns on October 7.

Hezbollah announced this Sunday that it had attacked several locations and concentrations of soldiers since morning, describing eight operations so far.

He also revealed that the rocket fire also targeted the occupying power’s newly established military command headquarters in Wadi Saasaa, confirming direct hits.

At 08:30 a.m. militants with appropriate weapons attacked the Israeli site of al-Dhayrah and the al-Jirdah checkpoint, confirming direct hits.

Then at 8:35 a.m. a group of occupation soldiers at a newly established outpost at the Jal al-Allam site were attacked, while at 11:30 a.m. Hezbollah fighters attacked the al-Marj site.

At the same time, the Lebanese resistance group attacked the Ramya compound with appropriate weapons and scored a direct hit.

Also at 11:30 a.m. the resistance fighters attacked the enemy positions in Khallet Wardeh, half an hour later Hezbollah attacked the enemy positions in the “Hanita” compound.

Meanwhile, at 12:40 p.m., Hezbollah attacked a concentration of troops and vehicles near the “Metulla” site and carried out direct attacks. Subsequently, at 12:45 p.m., the Jal al-Allam site and its surroundings were attacked for a second time. Time today with rockets and artillery shells to score direct hits.
