History repeats itself for the Rocket

For the second time in as many games, the Laval Rocket lost in overtime to the Americans in Rochester.

In Friday night’s game, Isak Rosen scored in the final seconds of overtime and the crowd favorite won 3-2.

The Americans never gave in. Jeremy Davies opened the scoring at the end of the first period, while Mason Jobst gave his team the lead again in the second period.

The Rocket evened the score for the first time thanks to Jan Mysak and for the second time thanks to a performance from Riley Kidney. In both cases it was their second goal of the season.

In front of the cages, Strauss Mann made 32 saves in the loss, while Devin Cooley stopped as many pucks in the win.

The Montreal Canadiens farm club in the American League has suffered a loss in its last four games. He will try to return to victory on Saturday as part of a visit to Syracuse to face the Crunch.
