Between flight delays, baggage issues and security checks, vacation air travel can sometimes be more stressful than anything else, especially at some airports that are considered the most stressful in the world. .

This is what the visa advice website VisaGuide.World found when it ranked the world's busiest airports in 2023.

The website collected the opinions of 1,642 airline passengers of 53 different nationalities who made at least two trips to another country in the last year.

In particular, the high number of passengers, the size of the airports, the frequency of flight delays and even the distance to the city center were questioned.

First place was taken by London Gatwick Airport in the United Kingdom with a score of 52, even though it is far from the largest airport in terms of area and passenger numbers. However, there are almost 41% delayed flights there and it is quite far from the city center.

Next is Istanbul Airport in Turkey with a score of 42.79, followed by Munich Airport in Germany with a score of 40.43.

In general, half of the busiest airports are in Europe and the other half are in the United States, such as Denver (5th) or Los Angeles (6th).
