Hollyoaks stars Niamh Blackshaw and Angus Castle Doughty have apparently announced they are dating off-show.
The 24-year-old actress – who plays Juliet Nightingale on the soap – curled up in front of a Christmas tree with her 30-year-old co-star, who portrays Eric Foster, in a black-and-white snap.
In the caption of her Instagram post shared on New Year’s Eve, she wrote: “Happy New Year [blue heart] a year of growth, learning, kindness, loneliness, boundaries and acceptance.

Niamh finished the reflective post: “Ends in a better space than it began.”
Meanwhile, Angus shared his own playful shot of the pair on Instagram with the caption: “HNY ❤️”.
He also tweeted: “In 2022 I moved across the country, took the biggest step of my career, a relationship ending and a relationship beginning. I also bought a sleeveless shirt, so… every cloud.”

Fans are hoping that Juliet and Peri Lomax’s (Ruby O’Donnell) split will only be temporary as Juliet recently cheated on her. Peri Lomax is played by Ruby O’Donnell.
2023 will begin with turbulence for Juliet as she grapples with her recently diagnosed Hodgkin’s disease.
Angus joined the Hollyoaks cast in March 2022 as Eric, Tony’s (Nick Pickard) and Verity’s (Eva O’Hara) estranged brother.
