‘Homeless Man’ Orlando Brown Arrested: Latest Drama About Former Disney Child Star

A former Disney Channel star was arrested in Ohio on Thursday on charges of domestic violence, The Post can confirm.

Orlando Brown, 35, was taken into custody after Lima police received a call about an ongoing fight, a police spokesman told The Post.

A representative for Brown’s company, Young Starr Entertainment, did not immediately respond to a Post request for comment Friday.

The ‘That’s So Raven’ star was reportedly involved in an altercation with a man named Matthew Sanders, whose ties to Brown are unclear, according to TMZ.

The outlet reported Sanders allegedly told police he allowed Brown to live in a house he was renovating because the actor was homeless.

He reportedly told police that Brown started acting “crazy” inside the house, accusing him of raping his wife and allegedly trying to attack him with a broken knife blade and hammer, but he never made contact and hung up finally down the guns.

Brown was charged with domestic violence by threat and was arraigned at 10:52 a.m. Police said the charges were reduced to a misdemeanor aggravated threat at Friday’s arraignment, and Brown is being held in the Allen County Jail on $25,000 bail.

TMZ notes that the former child star has been believed to have lived in Ohio for more than a month.

Brown made his big screen debut in the 1995 comedy Major Payne, directed by Damon Wayans. He went on to appear on several popular family sitcoms, including Family Matters and Two of a Kind, before playing Eddie Thomas on Disney Channel’s That’s So Raven, which aired from 2003-2007.

Thursday’s incident follows a string of arrests from 2007. In 2018, he was arrested nearly every two months on charges ranging from burglary and drug possession to resisting an officer and a household battery.

After a difficult year during which he revealed a tattoo on his former co-star Raven Symoné’s chest, Brown met with Dr. Phil McGraw in an episode that aired in December 2018.

He admitted to struggling with addiction, homelessness and mental health issues. He later revealed that he smoked weed before performing and went to a rehab facility after leaving the show.

“I didn’t want to be there [on ‘Dr. Phil’] … I was tricked into going there,” Brown said on the No Jumper podcast in April. “I was supposed to do The Wendy Williams Show and they literally duped me.”

He concluded: “But I thank Dr. Phil, man. He is unbelievable. Eventually, yes I dissed him because I felt like he allowed me to be ambushed.
