Homeland co-stars Claire Danes and Rupert Friend attended the same event on Tuesday night in New York City.
They were seen at the special screening of Sophie's Choice to mark the film's 40th anniversary, with film stars Meryl Streep and Kevin Kline in attendance.
Claire, 44, arrived alone and Rupert, 42, was with his sports wife Aimee Mullins, 48.
The actors played work partners and then romantic partners in the hit spy series – she was bipolar CIA agent Carrie Mathison and he was CIA agent and assassin Peter Quinn.
There was intense chemistry between their characters, but all the heat only resulted in a single passionate kiss.
The critically acclaimed show aired from 2011 to 2020.

Claire looked conservative in a black satin suit with an ivory top underneath. She was holding a black handbag and wearing high heels.
The My So-Called Life veteran added a chunky gold necklace with dainty earrings, as she did with dark red lipstick.
Rupert – who previously dated Kiera Knightley – also wore a black suit.
His wife Aimee — an athlete who was born with a disease that led to the amputation of both legs below the knee — stood out in a blood-red double-breasted suit with black sneakers.
Danes began playing bipolar CIA agent Carrie in 2011. The eighth and final season of Homeland aired in 2020.
In the same year, the Danes looked to the future.
Danes told The Hollywood Reporter she wasn't sure what came next: “I don't know where to start, but I should play someone who is extremely sensible.”

On a personal level, Claire explained: “I need to release the final season before it really ends for me, and then I'm sure I'll surface at some point.”
She ended up starring in Fleishman Is in Trouble and then Full Circle.
Her plan to “find someone healthy” refers to Carrie's bipolar disorder, which has remained a major wild card in the show's plot throughout all seasons.
Recalling the early days of the award-winning Showtime thriller, which became an instant hit thanks to brilliant reviews and viral word of mouth, she says it all took her a little by surprise.

“Three episodes later, people were literally running out of business, which filled me with excitement,” she recalls.
“I had never experienced that before. “My So-Called Life” had an amazingly rich afterlife, but when it aired, that appreciation was missing.
“There have been parodies on Saturday Night Live and in MAD Magazine.” That's a real sign that you've managed to get roasted. “There was a porn film made about us.”
MSCL aside, of course, the Danes mostly enjoyed appearing in films like Romeo + Juliet, The Family Stone and Stardust before returning to television in 2010 with HBO's masterful Temple Grandin.

The role earned Danes both a Golden Globe and a Primetime Emmy, and it was a sign of things to come – over the next two years, she won both trophies a second and third time for her performance in “Homeland.”
Claire is married to Emmy-nominated actor Hugh Dancy, who has appeared in projects such as Hannibal, Elizabeth I and The Big C. She and her husband have three children.
Dancy also had a role in Homeland.
