A fuel pump problem has caused Honda to initiate a recall of over 2.5 million vehicles.

The problem with the fuel pump module could cause it to stop working. An affected vehicle's engine “may not start or may stall while driving” in such an event, “increasing the risk of an accident or injury,” Honda's recall report said.

“As of December 12, 2023, Honda had 4,042 warranty claims and no reports of injuries or deaths related to this issue from January 2018 to December 12, 2023,” the report said.
