Honor has announced a new member of its latest series of mid-range smartphones. As a reminder, less than a month ago Honor announced the Honor 90 and Honor 90 Pro with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 and Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 respectively. In comparison, the Honor 90 Lite uses the lower-performing MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chip, which combines two 2.2GHz ARM Cortex-A76 CPU cores and six 2GHz Cortex-A55 CPU cores.
In addition, the Honor 90 Lite sports a 6.7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2388 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Honor packs this large display into a 7.48 mm thick body, as well as a 4,500- mAh battery that supports 22.5W charging via USB Type-C port. At the center of the display is a 16-megapixel front camera, complemented by primary 100-megapixel, 5-megapixel ultra-wide, and 2-megapixel macro rear cameras.
The Honor company will start selling the Honor 90 Lite in Europe on June 19. The company has yet to confirm European pricing, but the Honor 90 Lite will be available in the UK on June 20 with an RRP of £249.99. All Honor 90 Lite devices will come with 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage and MagicOS 7.1, an Android 13-based skin.
