JOY IS THE ONLY ANTIDOTE

To judge, to discipline, to punish, to apply severely to everything and everyone, such is the practice of human severity toward self, the backbone of all our civilization’s distortions, the true and hidden mother of the unconscious that so many abominations seek to hide, at this exercise always failing, for severity is original sin, the fundamental misunderstanding of reality.
No one is free from severity, unfortunately we are all marked by it, because we receive it from the stern hand of those familiar to us and because we pass it on with the responsibility of those who want to educate the new generations.
Harshness is the mother of all the abominations of our humanity, and there is only one cure for it: joy.
