The battle between the Quebec Liberal Party and Quebec Solidaire promises to be particularly close.

This riding has been liberal for more than 30 years.

According to Québec Solidaire spokesman Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois, voters have two choices: “Status quo or change,” he says.

The real estate crisis is at the heart of the party’s concerns, assured Guillaume Cliche-Rivard, the Solidarity candidate.

For his part, Liberal candidate Christopher Baenninger takes nothing for granted, despite his party’s history of riding.

“They say it’s a liberal castle, but you shouldn’t take anything for granted,” he said. That’s why you have to go door to door and meet people. The actual poll is on March 13th.

The candidate of the Avenir Québec coalition, Victor Pelletier, recalls that the residents of the equestrian center will have more than two choices in the elections on March 13th.

“There are no two options in this election,” he says. We are 11 candidates; We have 11 choices. Locally, I felt great satisfaction with the government of François Legault and the Coalition Avenir Québec.”

PQ candidate Andréanne Fiola is also satisfied with the campaign she is running.

“I think the people of Saint-Henri-Sainte-Anne are happy with our campaign and our proposals because we are the only party that would really promote French and that is talking about the Quebec independence project,” she says.

More than 12% of voters have already cast their votes in the pre-poll.

Residents of Saint-Henri-Sainte-Anne who have not already done so can vote between 9:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. on March 13, the day of the by-election.
