‘House of Horrors’ survivor Jordan Turpin reveals she will spend Thanksgiving with some of her 12 siblings in her new home – six years after her dramatic escape from hell

‘House of Horrors’ survivor Jordan Turpin has revealed she will be spending Thanksgiving with her siblings – six years after her dramatic escape from abhorrent abuse at the hands of her parents.

Turpin, 22, is an aspiring motivational speaker — but along with her 12 brothers and sisters, she is still recovering from the physical, mental and emotional trauma her abusive parents inflicted on them at home in Perris, California.

Their parents, David and Louise Turpin, tied their children to their beds in their Perrin home, starved them and beat them daily.

Jordan now plans to spend her Thanksgiving holiday with her siblings at their new house – but revealed she won’t be cooking the turkey.

“I’m going to spend it with my siblings.” “I’m cooking, but I’m not cooking this Thanksgiving meal,” she told People.

Jordan moved into her rented home this year, which she says is perfect for housing her loved ones and has enough space for her four puppies and guinea pigs.

Of her seasonal decorations, she said, “I decorated for Halloween, which was really cool, and I decorated for Thanksgiving.”

“I already have a Christmas tree!

‘I do [still] I want my apartment to look nice and clean.

“Every time my siblings come over, it’s like a brand new house again.”

Jordan has previously said that she is still “very, very” close to her siblings and sees them often after the horrors they endured during their childhood. She has since launched her own line of merch and sold hoodies that say “Doing my best.”

She was 17 years old when she managed to escape from the family home through a bedroom window in January 2018 and alerted the police to the terrible living situation.

Her siblings were between two and 29 years old. A year after the daring escape and the horrific discovery of conditions at the home, David and Louise Turpin pleaded guilty to torture and were sentenced to life imprisonment.

Following David and Louise’s arrest in January 2018, horrific details emerged about the extent of the torture, abuse and neglect the children – aged between two and 29 at the time – had suffered.

Some of the children were found tied to their beds, starving and largely isolated from the world.

The parents’ abuse and neglect were so “severe, pervasive and prolonged” that it stunted their children’s growth, caused muscle wasting and left two of their daughters unable to bear children.

Every child except the 2-year-old was severely underweight, and officials said the children said they could only shower once a year.

They were mostly kept in their rooms, except for meals, which had been reduced from three to one per day, a combination of lunch and dinner.

Some of the other children have said since their rescue that the social service system that was supposed to help them transition to a new life has not done what it should.

The siblings now face the challenge of learning basic life skills like managing money and interacting with others, as well as dealing with the collective lack of mentoring that would normally come from parents.

Tragically, six of the youngest 13 Turpin siblings who were rescued said they were sexually abused and tortured by their new foster parents, who force-fed them and forced them to eat their own vomit.

In contrast, Jordan Turpin, who escaped abuse in 2018, is supported by a team of people around her as she restarts her life and becomes a rising social media star and motivational speaker in Southern California, but has many of her siblings lack such support and face many challenges as they try to navigate the real world.

Jennifer, the eldest Turpin sibling, is said to be an aspiring nurse and also has her own following on Instagram, while a third, Jeanetta, posts pictures and song lyrics on social media.

While some of the other siblings still live in foster care, three others have started college.

The children were threatened with belts and sticks and were even told that their parents would chain them to their beds and pull their hair if they did not behave.

Jordan and her sister Jennifer also said the parents “literally” used the Bible to justify how they treated the siblings.

They liked to point out things in Deuteronomy and say, “We have the right to do this to you,” said Jennifer, now 33. “That they even had the right to kill us if we didn’t listen.”

For years, the siblings’ diet only consisted of two slices of bread with peanut butter or bologna.

The couple was also accused of taunting their children with cakes and other foods they were forbidden from eating.
