Trailer for House of the Dragon released 0:48
(CNN Spanish) — If you don’t like dragons or the whole “Game of Thrones” universe, maybe you should prepare yourself and silence the phrase “House of the Dragon” in your social networks.
A new era of this popular story, written by George RR Martin and airing on HBO, is about to begin.
House of Dragon is a prequel to Game of Thrones. In this production we see the story of the Targaryen family, the house from which Daenerys, the mother of dragons or Khaleesi, played in Emilia Clarke’s “Game of Thrones” comes from.
The series is based on the book “Fire and Blood” by George RR Martin and takes place 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones.

Steve Toussaint as Lord Corlys Velaryon, “The Sea Serpent”
“Lord of House Velaryon, a Valyrian bloodline as old as House Targaryen. As The Sea Serpent, the most celebrated nautical adventurer in the history of Westeros, Lord Corlys built his house into a mighty seat even richer than the Lannisters “and that it has the largest navy in the world”.
Eve Best as Princess Rhaenys Targaryen
“A dragon rider and wife of Lord Corlys Velaryon, ‘The Queen That Never Was’ was excluded from the High Council as heir to the throne because the realm favored her cousin Viserys simply because he was male.”

Sonoya Mizuno as Mysaria
“She came to Westeros with nothing, sold herself more times than she can remember.
Rhys Ifans as Otto Hightower
“The Hand of the King, Ser Otto, loyally and faithfully serves both his king and his kingdom. From the Hand’s point of view, the biggest threat to the kingdom is the king’s brother, Daemon, and his position as heir to the throne.”
