Two college volleyball teams played a sensational rally in which one member showed how committed she is by crashing through a table and planting the ground to keep the ball alive.
With Houston leading the set 5-1, it looked like their opponents South Dakota had won a point when the ball was hurled well over the field by the Cougars.
That’s when Kate Georgiades made the piece of her life.
The libero reached out for the ball with her feet in the air to miraculously return the ball, crashing through a table and hitting the deck while keeping the point going.
Players on the side rushed over to help Georgiades after putting their bodies on the line to retrieve the ball.

She made an incredible save, diving for the ball that was about to land on a table
Her incredible dive and grab for the ball sent her crashing into a table and slamming her face on the floor
As the game went on, Georgiades wasn’t finished there and managed to get back into position.
She continued to help her team as they recovered from the near-point loss.
Georgiades returned to the court and stretched once more to keep the game alive in an epic rally.

And the libero (black shirt) was happy about the congratulations of her teammates after the point
After more than 40 seconds of rallies, a Houston player near the front net was able to close the point with a safe tap to the other side.
Cougars players fanned out Georgiades at the end of the point, realizing how incredible their save had been.
The Houston players then headed to the scene of their teammate’s incredible save to pick up the table.
The remainder of the set actually went to South Dakota as they won 25-23 and forced a fifth and final set.
Houston bounced back and won the final and crucial fifth set.
They will now focus on Auburn, who they play against on Saturday night.
