How China is dividing the EU

The communist regime does not need sophisticated lobbying in Brussels. The political-economic stubbornness of the Member States opens the door for this, as illustrated by Belgium, of all countries, the country that currently holds the Presidency of the Council of the EU.

The Belgian presidency of the EU Council had barely taken over this week when Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo took his leave again. On Wednesday, he flew to Beijing to meet China's leaders, President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang. The official agenda includes, among other things, the signing of a green energy agreement between Belgium and China.
