The Spanish magazine that published photos of Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark and Mexican socialite Genoveva Casanova together in Madrid has reportedly released a schedule of their evening.
While Genoveva, 47, strenuously denied “malicious” rumors that she and the Danish heir to the throne, 55, were in a romantic relationship, Lecturas claimed the royal father-of-four visited the socialite’s apartment on October 25 after spending a night together Visited the Picasso exhibition.
The magazine claims the crown prince, who has been married to Princess Mary of Denmark since 2004, dined at El Corral de la Moreria that evening with mother-of-one Genoveva and the couple left the restaurant at 1am.
The magazine published photos of Crown Prince Frederik that allegedly show him leaving Genoveva’s apartment. In the photos he is alone, pushing a hand luggage-sized suitcase down the street.
The timeline follows when Lecturas editor Luis Pliego claimed on Spanish TV channel Telecinco that Frederik had come to Madrid “secretly”.
As Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark go about their business at home, Spanish magazine Lecturas has published a timeline saying the prince spent an evening with a Mexican socialite in Madrid
On Tuesday evening, the Mexican socialite and reality TV star issued a statement denying the “vicious” rumors that she and Crown Prince Frederik were involved in a romantic relationship, saying they were “categorically” untrue.
A statement from the celebrity said: “I categorically deny the statements that indicate a romantic relationship between Prince Frederik and me.”
She added: “Any statement of this nature is not only completely untrue but also maliciously misrepresents the facts.”
“This is already in the hands of my lawyers, who will take the appropriate steps to protect my right to honor, truth and privacy.”
Now Lecturas has reported further details about Crown Prince Frederik and Genoveva’s evening in Madrid.
According to Lecturas, Crown Prince Frederik walked with Genoveva Casanova through Retiro Park in Madrid on the afternoon of October 25th
After the afternoon walk, the two went back to Genoveva’s apartment (pictured), according to the magazine, where they changed into evening wear
The magazine claims the couple spent an evening at El Corral de la Moreria, where they watched a flamenco performance
The magazine claims that after visiting a Pablo Picasso exhibition at the Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum, the pair were strolling through Retiro Park in central Madrid on the afternoon of October 25.
Following the walk around 7pm, Lecturas claims that both Frederik and Genoveva went to their apartment building separately and both emerged two hours later around 9pm after changing their clothes into evening wear.
In photos obtained by the publication, Genoveva has ditched her chic belted camel coat in favor of a white shirt, black wide-leg pants and a black jacket that she wears over her shoulders.
Meanwhile, Frederik seems to have changed from a dark blue jacket and brown trousers into a white shirt and dark trousers with a chic dark jacket. Again, it is reported that they left the building separately but got into the same white car.
The magazine claims the couple watched a flamenco performance at a Spanish restaurant, El Corral de la Moreria, which ended at midnight.
It is also alleged that they remained at their table, which had been flanked by two of the Danish prince’s bodyguards, while other guests left, waiters finished their shifts and the lights were turned off.

During a photo shoot, Frederik appeared to point his body towards Maria and put his arm around her waist
Divorcee Genoveva Casanova – the former daughter-in-law of the billionaire Duchess of Alba – was photographed by a Spanish gossip magazine spending a day with Frederik in Madrid
Lecturas claims the couple didn’t leave the restaurant until 1 a.m., then went out onto the street and got into a car. In a “gesture of politeness,” reports Lecturas, Crown Prince Frederik opened the car door for his dining companion.
The magazine claims that the next day the heir to the Danish throne was taken by car to the airport, from where he flew to Denmark.
Genoveva Casanova is a Mexican-born, Spanish-based socialite who has also dabbled in acting over the years, landing a role in Goya’s Ghosts in 2006.
She has appeared on several reality TV shows in Spain, including the national version of The Masked Singer, the latest series of Spanish Celebrity Masterchef and an all-star version of The Chase.
Between 2005 and 2007 she was married to the Spanish author Cayetano Martínez de Irujo and the couple have two children together.
He is one of the five sons of the late Duchess of Alba, who had an estimated fortune of £2.2 billion, was one of the richest aristocrats in Europe and was a direct royal descendant of King James II of England.
They divorced in 2008 but maintain an amicable relationship and she said they still talk to each other every day.
After their divorce, Genoveva was in a relationship with Mexican singer Luis Miguel, although the couple never confirmed whether they were in a relationship.
She then dated Gonzalo Vargas Llosa, a senior political adviser at the UNHCR, before dating former Spanish justice minister José María Michavila after his wife’s death.
Her last romance was in 2022 with José Manuel Gayán Pacheco, an agricultural entrepreneur.
While Genoveva, who celebrated her 47th birthday yesterday, published a scathing attack on the Spanish magazine, putting an end to any speculation about a romantic relationship between her and Frederik, it was business as usual for the Danish royal family at the end of Queen Letizia’s state visit and King Felipe of Spain travel to Copenhagen on Wednesday.
Crown Princess Mary, Frederik’s wife of 19 years and mother of his four children, kept a poker face while attending appointments with the Spanish royal family and conducting interviews with the press.
The Australian-born future queen, 51, maintained a passive expression during a visit to the Center for Danish Architecture in Copenhagen as she received Spanish royals on the third day of her state visit.
