What happened to Nike’s Total 90 brand?
Nike launched the Total 90 line for soccer in 2000. The immense popularity of the brand prompted the American company to launch a total of seven generations by 2012: Total 90, Total 90 II, Total 90 III, Total 90 IV Supremacy, Total 90 Laser, Total 90 Laser II, Total 90 Laser III Shoot and Total 90 Laser IV. But like so many other products, this one wouldn’t last forever.
Eventually, both professionals and consumers switched to other alternatives and Nike itself began to focus mainly on its Mercurial line. This still applies today. Still, there are few shoes that have defined a generation like the Total 90, which is reflected in the multitude of deals that are unofficially online.
