Karma is the Chiefs guy…
Once she broke up with the actor Joe Alwyn After six years together, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end was confirmed in April Travis Kelce was ready to take his shot with the superstar.
On a July 26 episode of his New Heights podcast, the Super Bowl winner opened up about his failed attempt to meet the singer during her Eras Tour concert — which ultimately caught Swift's attention.
“Travis really got me in the mood for what I thought was metal as hell on his podcast,” she told TIME. “We started hanging out straight after. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for because we got to know each other.”
So, yes, the couple dated for a few months before their romance nearly broke the internet when she appeared at the Chiefs game on September 24th. As Swift put it, “We would never be psychotic enough to go on a first date with all our might.”
Unlike their previous relationships, Swift and Kelce weren't shy about being photographed together. Swift has attended six games so far and Kelce traveled to Buenos Aires to attend her Eras Tour show on November 11th. And the singer gave her boyfriend a sweet shoutout by changing a lyric in her song “Karma.”
Instead of singing, “Karma is the guy on the screen coming straight to my house,” the pop star replaced the word “screen” with “Chiefs.” After the concert, the couple was spotted kissing backstage.
