College basketball fans across the country have been waiting, but they can get their first look at what the 2024 NCAA Tournament bracket will be like on Saturday's NCAA March Madness Men's Bracket Preview show on CBS. With just over four weeks until Selection Sunday, the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Committee will announce the current top 16 seeds in the 30-minute show scheduled for 12:30 p.m. ET before No. 3 Houston at 13 :00 p.m. on CBS Texas.
Committee Chairman Charles McClelland will be in studio for the unveiling, as will the broadcast team of Adam Zucker, Clark Kellogg, Jay Wright and Seth Davis. The show will rank the top four seeds in each region once things get underway on Saturday. The committee began previewing the group's top 16 teams in 2017, and it has become an annual tradition to preview how the group is coming together.
There is still plenty of time for teams to rise or fall before the full 68-team field is announced on Sunday, March 17 on CBS. But Saturday's preview will provide some clues as to how the selection committee views certain teams. Among the most intriguing revelations will be who the committee lists as its fourth No. 1 seed. UConn, Purdue and Houston each have slight chances of being the No. 1 seed, but there is a large group of teams fighting for the fourth and final No. 1 seed.
Heading into the show, CBS Sports Bracketology expert Jerry Palm predicts Arizona will be the fourth No. 1 seed. Palm will be part of the expanded coverage when the bracket preview show airs on CBS Sports Network at 1 p.m. to discuss the rest of the bracket in more detail.
