The media personality didn’t take kindly to Maher’s unwarranted comments about his relationships, claiming on Tuesday’s episode of The Howard Stern Show that he should “keep his mouth shut.”
“What a sexist statement! What a convoluted, crazy statement,” Stern said, firing back. “It assumes he knows something about my first marriage. That of course the man leaves the woman and the woman must be devastated and sit around pining for her famous husband.”

Stern remarried Beth in a surprise wedding on The Ellen DeGeneres Show back in October 2019, a week after he told her during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! proposed marriage again.
While Bachelor alum Colton Underwood officiated the ceremony, Stern shared his vow: “If I marry you, I promise that I will watch The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise with you in bed every night for the rest of my life.”

The couple sealed the deal with a kiss and, according to Jewish tradition, the radio host broke a jar of his real food.
