Huck serves fried cockroaches on camera and says it's a 'homage' to Angélica TV

Luciano Huck proposed an unusual challenge to cameraman José Silveira Jr., known as Zé, on Sunday (28). The professional agreed to try out some unconventional animal skewers at a trade fair in China. The presenter even bought one with cockroaches on it and said it was a tribute to Angélica. “She’s desperate,” he said.

Huck has been working with Zé for years, who accompanies him on his travels from Caldeirão. He even gave the cameraman a sailboat.

While visiting China, the communicator was excited to visit a market that featured skewers of animals such as scorpions, snakes, cockroaches, grasshoppers, and centipedes. “Hello Zé, are you hungry?” he asked, laughing.

The cameraman joked that he even wanted an “aperitif” and agreed to try the Chinese delicacies. He agreed to the snake dish, although he complained about the spice. “Lots of pepper,” he said.

“Now eat this little larva that will make it round,” suggested Huck, comparing the images to one of the most anticipated tests in No Limite.

The scorpion was also approved by Zé, who was however advised not to eat its tail because of the poison. “You want to get rid of me, is there poison?” he added jokingly.

Eventually, the Globo employee was faced with a spit full of cockroaches. “It’s a tribute to Angélica because she’s desperate about cockroaches,” Huck concluded.
