Franklyn is a dog who thinks he is small but is not small at all. He’s a Newfoundland breed, which means he looks more like a bear than a little poodle.
His body is gigantic, but he doesn’t accept his size and will do anything to accommodate himself in the (for him) small places in the house, like the sofa.
The big guy is one year old and belongs to Shauna Connors from Nova Scotia, Canada. The pet was even kicked out of a dog daycare because of its clumsy way of “sticking” itself everywhere. Those responsible feared that he sit on the smaller dogs.
Franklyn currently weighs 125 pounds, and now the one who’s afraid of the “puppy” look is her teacher. Because he can reach 196 pounds (88.9 kg) and because he loves to throw himself through things, he worries his sofa is about to collapse.
“The gentle giant has no idea how big he is,” Shauna told the Chron. “It’s hard to say no when he wants to cuddle.
