The young mother, who lost her life in a violent evasive maneuver in Saint-Bernard de Beauce on Thursday night, had just celebrated her birthday with relatives when the tragedy struck.

“When the police knocked on my door, I knew immediately why. […] I screamed my life It’s the worst pain a mother can suffer,” sobbed Julie Bussière, still shocked four days after the tragic event.
Last Thursday, her daughter Stéphanie Bussière was returning from a birthday party celebrating her 31st birthday as she turned onto the Saint-Marc ring road in Saint-Bernard de Beauce.
According to relatives, the impact was incredibly violent. The vehicle was “standing” in a tree, the wheel on the passenger side almost reached the steering wheel and the engine was under the car.
“I had warned her that same morning to be careful… We don’t expect it that much. I had to welcome all my children this weekend to celebrate their birthdays at the same time, Ms. Bussière sighs.

A golden woman
For the relatives of Stéphanie Bussière, who came from Saint-Elzéar, the news was like a bomb. Messages trickled in from all sides on social networks, where she enjoyed a certain notoriety.
Known by the pseudonym Bussssiere on TikTok, where she has almost 28,000 subscribers, the mother of a 4-year-old girl even posted a video a few hours before the tragedy.
“When I heard the news, I broke down. I spoke to him 10 minutes before his accident. You don’t expect the person you care about to disappear right away,” says her best friend Camille Gagné.
Mme Gagné paints the portrait of a woman in gold, always smiling, with her heart on her sleeve.
“She would have given heaven and earth for the people she loves,” she says.

For the moment, the Sûreté du Québec has not established the exact circumstances that led to the tragedy, content to point out that no hypothesis has yet been favored.
The victim’s mother still wanted to send a message of awareness to young motorists in search of thrills.
“It is important that parents make their children aware of speeding, alcohol or drugs while driving. It affects not only the victim, but all the people who are left,” breathes Ms. Bussière.
A cross in the name of the victim and stuffed animals were placed in the Saint-Marc row where Stéphanie Bussière lost her life to pay a final tribute.
