Hugh Jackman is keeping busy with charity work after his shocking split from wife Deborra-Lee Furness.
The 54-year-old Marvel star shared a beaming photo of himself on Instagram on Thursday evening wearing a Global Citizens T-shirt to promote a good cause.
In the picture, Hugh can be seen smiling with sorrow as he sits down and poses in the black T-shirt, which is emblazoned with a graphic red circle.
“Off to the Global Citizen Festival!” This weekend in NYC – rain or shine. “If you have tickets, have a great time in Central Park,” he wrote alongside the image.
Jackman has hosted several festivals in the past and supports the movement to immediately end extreme poverty through lasting change.

In 2017, he took the stage with Deborra and discussed what the noble cause meant to them.
Many of Hugh’s followers were quick to thank him for his generous support of the cause.
“Thank you, as always, for your incredible support!” wrote the Global Citizen site.
“I love you brother. “I’m so proud of your incredible work,” another person added.

This came after Jackman and Furness announced they were divorcing after 27 years of marriage.
“We were fortunate to spend almost three decades together in a wonderful, loving marriage. “Our journey is now changing and we have decided to separate to further our individual growth,” the couple said in a statement obtained by PEOPLE on Friday.
“Our family has always been and continues to be our highest priority.” We approach this next chapter with gratitude, love and kindness. We thank you very much for your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition.”
The former couple signed the statement “Deb and Hugh Jackman” and added: “This is the only statement either of us will make.”
The Australian couple shares two children together; Oscar, 23, and Ava, 18.
