Jéssica França Ferreira, exwife of actor Hugo Gross, was charged on Monday (January 1) with criminal damage after breaking into a condominium in Vargem Pequena (RJ), partially breaking the gate, damaging the artist's vehicle and disobeying had the officers. Hugo Gross is also president of the artists' association (Sated) and director of the Grande Rio samba school.
Delegate Rodrigo de Barros Lopes from the 42nd Police Station in Recreio dos Bandeirantes reported that the complaint was registered by the security officer and the manager of the condominium. Gross initially told the newspaper “O Globo” that he knew nothing about the case and was no longer in contact with Jéssica, from whom he had been separated for eight months.
Additionally, Gross did not confirm to the press whether the wrecked vehicle belonged to him, as Rio police confirmed that the car was registered in his name. Security footage showed the actor's exwife smashing the side windows and windshield of the car parked in the back of the parking lot.
Jéssica França Ferreira and Hugo Gross were already involved in another police case in 2016, when they were still together. The woman claimed that she was the victim of an attack by employees of the building where they lived in Jacarepaguá (RJ), on the actor's orders. In his defence, he accused her of calling the bar's bouncer a “dirty monkey”.
