Special connection to NATURE
During your hunting trip to certain game reserves, you can spend your stay in a Horizon Chalet. The modern design of this chalet, which can have two or three bedrooms, fits perfectly into its surroundings. The large window fronts optimize the view outside and let in natural light. This concept, unique to Sépaq, offers a living area with high ceilings, two or three sofas, a wood-burning stove and an enclosed entrance hall, practical for storing equipment and drying clothes. These chalets are powered by solar energy except for the stove and water heater. The newest members of the network are available for small game hunting trips this fall: six in the Laurentides Reserve on Lake Berthiaume, five chalets in the Tessier (2) and Proulx (3) sectors and three chalets in the sector. The sale of hunting permits for migratory birds begins. OCMQ hunting licenses (including the image of the CHFC stamp) and OCMG free hunting licenses for youth under 18 are now accessible through the electronic permit system at permis-permits.ec .gc.ca. Purchases can be made from your computer 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can download your license and stamp image directly from the website.
