After a 50-year career, Yves Lambert, member of la Bottine smileante, enjoys being on stage at Christmas time.
In fact, between December 23rd and 30th he will perform in a show that “touches the soul and the human being in all its sensitivity”.
“The rooms are full!” Despite the recession, the icon of traditional Quebec music is happy.
“I'm very happy. I'm happy with my band, it's an extraordinary band,” he says.
“I treat people very warmly and my goal is to put them in a good mood because they need it these days.”
With his album “Romance Paradis”, which will be released on January 26th, the musician wants to bring lightness and gentleness to everyone in 2024.
He claims to have “never loved so much.” [son] Job like now”.
The Quebec artist says he has evolved over his 50-year career, particularly “in his understanding of the profession, the public's appreciation and the responsibility of the artist.”
The singer claims to have broken a record in ticket sales for his show at Résidences Soleil this week, selling within 1:30 hours.
“I have become the Taylor Swift of Résidences Soleil,” says Yves Lambert with a laugh.
