Manchester North Deputy Medical Examiner Julie Mitchell has adjourned the inquest and requested testimony from her doctor, also with a view to establishing a medical cause of death. “Her death was definitely hastened by hypothermia.”

After the inquest, Ms Bolton’s son Mark told the Manchester Evening News: “We have been in touch, seen and spoken to her every day. We are now coming to terms with this sad loss… it is very difficult for me and my family .”
