Recalling the night of the incident, Sapato said he didn’t know what he was doing: “It’s very difficult for you to objectively define what happened there. At the time I was there I could not perceive any exaggeration on my part, but pausing to look at the images brings me to a moment of reflection and I understand that my attitude was not the right attitude.”
The athlete revealed he still has no regrets about joining the reality show: “It was an extremely important moment in my life, a lot of learning. I’ve had many happy and joyful moments, I’ve made bonds that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Without a doubt I leave there a much more mature man and aware of the things I need to think about and learn about in life.
