Rio Antonia Fontenelle, 49, has kept her promise and spoken out about the confusion surrounding First Lady Janja and the Imperatriz Leopoldinense samba school, live on her YouTube channel this Thursday. In a nearly 40minute video titled “A Barrada da Sapucaí is a 10,” the host and actress was ecstatic, again saying that she finds President Lula’s wife’s clothes ugly and reiterating that she believes green and White is an apathetic school and declared that he would not be absent from the carnival of the Marquês de Sapucaí.

In the video, Marcos Paulo’s widow once again commented on the look that Janja chose at the inauguration of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva last Sunday. “The girl’s clothes were ‘terrible’ and I won’t change my mind even under torture,” said Antonia, who compared the first lady’s costume to that of Imperatriz Leopoldinense’s old guard, saying on the occasion, “Because it is one listless school, it stinks and doesn’t smell”.

Minutes later, the actress confirmed live what she thought of the Empress: “I think you’re an apathetic school, I think … Because I say you’re apathetic, do you think you can expel me from Sapucaí? How pedantic you think you’re talking to whom, a carnival bitch? You respect me, I have a history with Mardi Gras, I’ve never lived with Mardi Gras, no, for **. On the contrary, I helped, and it wasn’t a little,” she said she performed in Grande Rio for 14 years, two years in Império Serrano and a year as the queen of drums in Mocidade Independente de Padre Miguel.

Visibly irritated, the blonde continued: “You took the focus away from the First Lady, you damn assholes! And thrown the focus where it wasn’t. Since when is oldschool clothing haute couture? I’m not talking about the little gentlemen who are the heart of the school, I’m not. They don’t even care about her, do you know why? Because they stay on their feet for hours, some faint, others sweat, beg for water and you yell at them. And I’m not just talking about the Empress, no.”

Antonia also cited a request from the Empress to Liesa not to accept a possible application for her accreditation at the carnival. “You think I’m worried about Liesa’s badge. When in my life have I asked for a badge? I never asked for it, you can look it up in your file. Respect me!” she complained. “What do you think? That they’re going to fire me? That they will prevent me from entering Sapucaí? Are you kidding me?”

At another point, Antonia said: “I come and go from Sapucaí whenever I want and I want to see who will stop me,” he said. In the live broadcast, the blonde also spoke about the plans for this year’s carnival. “Yesterday, two box owners from Sapucaí called me and said, ‘This is your house. You can come and go whenever you want Come to the champions”.

Remember the case:

It all started during the inauguration of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) last Sunday. Watching the ceremony on TV, Antonia, who is a supporter of Jair Bolsonaro (PL), said that the first lady, Janja, is wearing an outfit resembling the oldschool costumes of Imperatriz Leopoldinense.

“Look, boys… These are the old guard of Imperatriz Leopoldinense. I don’t know much about fashion, but I don’t think it’s necessary, that’s my opinion… The opinion of a simple woman.’ Weil, Leopoldinense, Antonia?’ Because it’s an apathetic school, it doesn’t stink or smell, you know? It’s not the old guard of Mangueira, Mocidade or Grande Rio, it’s Imperatriz Leopoldinense. By God…” he said.

The samba school then commented on Antonia’s statements and invited Janja to appear as a wing godmother in this year’s carnival. “The unfounded attacks by those who do not know the history of the carnival do not only affect our association, but above all our community, fans, components and consequently the entire world of samba. We demand respect for our sixtythree years of history in favor of Brazilian folk arts and culture,” he said in a statement. The association also sent a letter to Liesa asking her to deny Antonia accreditation for the carnival. The board’s president, Jorge Perlingeiro, said that if she does, she will accept the school’s request and not accredit her, however, according to Perlegeiro, Antonia Liesa has never asked for accreditation and he cannot prevent her from buying tickets or being invited into booths too will.
