In an interview with Folha de S. Paulo published this Thursday (19), country singer Chrystian said he should reelect President Jair Bolsonaro (PL). He also stated that he trusts the presidential candidate, a common political position among singers of the genre.
“I think I have fans from the right, from the left, yellow, I have a black fan. I don’t want to displease anyone, I’d rather stay out of that loop,” the singer said.
After the statement, he spoke about the reasons behind the election of the current president. “He’s very patriotic, I like him a lot. I have doubts about the honesty of the other candidates and so far I have no doubts about Bolsonaro’s honesty,” he continued.
The 65yearold singer also opened up about his career spanning more than 40 years. Together with his brother Ralf he became famous as a singer. In the interview he explained that he is not always free.
Next Friday he will release his new solo song “Se eu Bebo, eu Choro” on digital platforms and a music video on his YouTube channel. He is also set to release other unreleased songs in the coming months, such as “Amor é que Nem Ônibus” and the romantic “No seu Corpo Nu,” which is reminiscent of songs he sang in English, such as “Don’t Say Goodbye.” .
