The former MP says she follows a regimented routine to maintain a slim body at the age of 45; She has lost 24 kg since 2020
Former Bundestag member Joice Hasselmann said this Friday (October 27, 2023) that she had not put “fried foods, soft drinks and sausages” in her mouth for 3 years. “Processed cookies or snacks are no longer part of my everyday life. That’s why I’m getting hotter and hotter,” the former congresswoman said in an interview with O Globo newspaper.
Since 2020, Joice has lost 24 kg. He said he felt like he had “the body of a 28yearold” and that the “secret” to maintaining his physical structure at age 45 was “eating the right amounts at the right times.” Additionally, he explained that “to maintain your weight,” you need to eat “tasty food and what you enjoy eating.”
The former congresswoman follows the “JH Protocol,” a course she authored that promises “quick, healthy and delicious weight loss without the suffering.” On the official website, the course advertises “losing up to 32kg of fat without ever gaining the weight back”. Monitoring costs R$2,594 and, according to the platform, there is already a waiting list.
“One follower said these days that he wanted to lose weight but wasn’t eating vegetables, fruits or veggies. I told him to buy a good funeral plan because nutritional reeducation to improve health and lead a healthier life is needed for these victims,” the journalist explained.
Regarding her physical training routine, the former deputy said that she works out seven times a week accompanied by a personal trainer. “My personal trainer tells me to rest, but I don’t want to. He tells me to lower the weight and I ask to increase it. […] “I never thought I would have a 65inch waist,” he said.
Joice Hasselmann was the second most elected federal representative in the 2018 elections with 1,078,666 votes, only behind Eduardo Bolsonaro (PLSP). However, she was not reelected in 2022 when she received 13,679 votes. The journalist lost more than a million votes between elections.
