“I laughed so hard!” – Catherine Brunet on her experience voicing Margot Robbie in “Barbie”

Catherine Brunet, who has been dubbing the voice of Margot Robbie for Quebec for several years, was thrilled with her experience on the hit film Barbie.

“I was the last to overtake and I could hear the other voices, including Jean-Philippe Baril Guérard, who overtook Ken. I picked up a few times. I never end up laughing out loud while doubling! But I laughed to myself,” admits the actress, who has been the Quebec voice of Margot Robbie since the film “The Wolf of Wall Street”.

“Margot Robbie is a good actress. It's fun to watch this talent at work. (…) It's really a candy film. It was a pleasure to dub every scene,” explains the woman, who spent about eight hours in the studio dubbing Barbie.

Even though Catherine Brunet has never been a fan of Barbie – “I've played with a few Barbies at my grandparents' house, that's all” – she admits that she loved the film, which was also at the top of the nominations The list included Golden Globes. “So much better!”
